Extended Services in Schools

All schools are expected to be delivering a core offer of extended services by 2010. We provide support for schools to achieve this through:

• information, advice and guidance on all aspects of the extended schools agenda, including developing partnerships with external organisations
• professional development opportunities
• tools for gathering evidence, benchmarking, and evaluating impact
• good practice publications
• programme management and development
• support for quality assurance schemes (e.g. Critical Friend support for Quality in Study Support)
• fundraising support for related programmes/activities

Support packages for schools and local authorities outside Islington can be designed to meet local needs.

As well as these tailor-made packages we have two specific programmes of support:
