Services we provide at Cardfields

Schools using Cardfields are be entitled to the following:

• Curriculum support, comprising help with time-tabling with a minimum commitment of 2.5 days per 5 day visit, direct teaching by centre staff and access to all the Centre’s project and activity offers
• Pre-trip planning discussions with school staff - booking for transport, visits, activities etc
• Use of centre equipment, resources and facilities - follow up materials for pupils where requested

At Cardfields we undertake:

• To meet the full schedules of service as outlined above
• To ensure that the premises and all equipment and materials meet required safety standards
• To ensure that all centre staff, whether permanent or seasonal, hold qualifications appropriate to activities they are required to lead
• To make available a range of information and resources relevant for school journeys to Cardfields
• To monitor school trips to Cardfields through regular consideration of comments from visiting schools
