From the M25

Follow the M25 towards the Dartford Tunnel, until J28 – Chelmsford A12.
Stay on the A12 until you reach the Hatfield Peverel junction, leave the A12 here.
Follow the slip road until the T junction with Hatfield Peverel High Street.
Turn left here and continue for about 100m until the first road junction on the right (this is Church Road – opposite the Blue Strawberry Bistro).
From Hatfield Peverel High Street

Turn along Church Road (opposite the Blue Strawberry Bistro).
Continue along Church Road and take the second road on the right – Crabbs Hill.
Continue to the end of Crabbs Hill until you reach the T junction.
At the T junction turn left, continue for about 1/2 mile until you reach a Y junction in the road.
Turn right here, the centre is on the left, about 200m along this road. (There is no road name signed – the road is Bumfords Lane. There is a ‘weak bridge’ weight limit sign at the top of the road). You will see Cardfields Environmental Studies Centre sign on the gate at the end of the drive. The centre is situated at the end of the drive furthest from the road.
